The Human Resource (HR) Coordinator supports the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, provides counseling on policies and procedures, and coordinates recruitment processes. The EHS Coordinator collects, documents, and assimilates information as it pertains to the Environmental Management System (EMS), and Guest Services safety programs as well as coordinates environmental and safety training as prescribed in all programs.Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systemsProvide guidance on policies and proceduresBe actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring processCreate and implement effective onboarding plansDevelop training and development programsAssist in performance management processesSupport the management of disciplinary actionMaintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirementsReview employment and working conditions to ensure legal complianceCoordinate or conduct employee training for environmental, health and safety programs.Coordinate the collection of all documentation of operational procedures, inspections, and controls for the EMS and Safety programs.Maintain awareness of and participate in environmental goals and objectives.Maintain awareness of and participate in safety goals and objectives.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
