The HR Analyst, Principal, is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful Human Resource (HR) reporting and analytics products and services across the enterprise. This role informs strategic business decisions and provides thought leadership and technical expertise while leading multiple cross-functional initiatives, collaborating closely with Prime and HR senior leadership and other key stakeholders. This role manages, coaches and mentors other members of the Talent Analytics team, and plays a strategic part in growing HR’s people data literacy.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead key, strategic partnerships with various levels of leadership internal and external to HR, showing the value of people data insights across the company to influence a culture of data-driven decision making.Consult and help translate talent and business issues into questions and hypotheses that can be tested with data; determine the optimal analytics approach and lead the intake, design, and development of technical solutions and productsDevelop influential, engaging presentations to train departments and teams on research and insights findings, leveraging storytelling skills to persuasively communicate outcomes and recommendations to senior leaders and other stakeholders; increase Prime’s data literacy for talent insights to drive decisions and actionLead, design, and execute cross-functional analytics projects to advance Prime’s HR and talent strategies. Analyze KPIs and other talent data proactively to look for signals and emerging trends; make recommendations to key business partners and senior management and effectively communicate conclusions from complex analytic solutionsMonitor and leverage people analytics and industry trends; proactively informing leaders of signals and recommendations to inform employee experience effortsParticipate in evaluating new technologies to ensure the advancement of technology architecture and data within organization business intelligence needsLead, coach and provide guidance to other members of the teamOther duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED required7 years of work experience supporting Human Resource technology to include HR report writing or HR analytics experience3 years of Workday Report Writing experience, SQL experience, or equivalentAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office/365, especially ExcelMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Exceptional analytical and reporting capabilities; curiosity to dig into data; ability to synthesize and organize complex information from research and multiple sources into clear and concise narratives that communicate actionable insights and recommendations to influence leadershipExcellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to develop effective presentations using data to successfully communicate key messagesStrong problem-solving skills to help identify the right questions to ask to solve talent and business issuesStrong business acumen to ensure recommendations are sound and practicalAbility to effectively manage multiple and shifting prioritiesAbility to effectively work through ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

Team lead/supervisory/management experienceBusiness Intelligence consulting experienceProject management / scrum leading experienceExperience leveraging statistical software packages such as R, Python, SAS, or equivalentExperience with analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Reporting Structure

Potential pay for this position ranges from $108,000.00 - $184,000.00 based on experience and skills.
