HR Data Specialist

Tri Pointe Homes is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our talented group as a HR Data Specialist. Position Highlights: Responsible for entering and auditing data in various HRIS systems and ensuring exceptional data integrity within and between all HR information systems. This role also uploads and manages employee records, provides payroll and compensation administrative support and performs various data and audit tasks for the HR department. Position Responsibilities: Performs HRIS data entry and processes employment related data changes (i.e., new hires, position, salary or location changes, terminations, etc.) Performs periodic data integrity audits; runs and reviews reports to audit and analyze data; proactively recommends process improvements Uploads documents to employee files and ensures records are complete and accurate Supports Payroll with bi-weekly and ongoing payroll audits, and acts as payroll back up as needed Supports Compensation Manager with compensation data gathering, benchmarking survey data submissions, job description formatting and other tasks Reviews and processes tuition reimbursement requests Creates and updates documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Assists Home Office HR team members with data and HR administration projects as needed Performs additional special projects as requested Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in HR or related field a plus. 2+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong aptitude for learning and adapting to HRIS systems Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal communication skills Proactive, curious, self-starter mindset with the ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and drive tasks to completion High level of attention to detail, accuracy and strong organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; advanced Excel skills a plus Proficiency in HR software and/or prior experience with UKG a plus Demonstrated strong work values in confidentiality, integrity and teamwork Physical Requirements: Sedentary for extended periods Repetitive motion such as typing Visual acuity required for detailed computer work Some overtime may be necessary but minimal Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: The expected Base Salary range for this position is between $28.22 to $41.88 per hour, equivalent to $58,700 to $87,100 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday. Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
