HR Director (46007-5)
• Responsible for all HR functions, such as the recruiting process – assist in the creation of job the description and coordinating interviews with candidates (via recruiter(s)) and the proper company employee(s); employee training; assist in coaching and counseling; handling sensitive internal HR issues, including terminating employees
• Update required HR materials (handbooks, policies and procedures)
• Review all legal agreements
• Insure the company is in compliance with the Parent Company’s compliance programs and appropriate training
• Participate in the risk management review and coordinate the resolution of issues with the parent company’s insurance dept. and the insurance broker
• Participate in insurance claims activity, including reporting to senior management and creating policy and procedures
Qualifications
• At least 5-10 years of experience in all areas stated above
• Successful track record in setting priorities, keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external individuals
• A multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-pace environment
• Japanese speaking preferred but not required
