We are looking for an HR Director to lead the center of excellence within the Howmet Fastening Systems Business. This hands-on HR leadership position will lead talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and learning and development across twenty six global sites in the US, UK, France, Germany, Mexico, Morocco, Hungary, China, Australia, and Japan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the HR Vice President, the broader HFS HR team and business leaders to execute strategic initiatives that add value to the organization, ensuring robust alignment with business priorities and corporate guidance.
Oversee HR processes, ensuring timely delivery of information and insights.
Track operational plans, establish and monitor key metrics and performance tracking processes to include turnover, absenteeism and other key metrics.
Work with segment leaders and team members, providing advice, guidance, and support in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, compensation planning, and learning and development.
Coach and advise leaders to optimize the employee experience and support development and succession of future leaders.
Partner with the business HR Directors to lead the Talent Review process, e.g., organize and leads the talent reviews with the leaders, partner with leaders to develop their talent and monitor performance issues.
Manage learning and development activities, assess training needs and ensure training is completed timely.
Work with the businesses to anticipate and identify workforce needs. Plan and delivers a Talent Acquisition strategy to ensure all business unit roles are filled with top talent in an efficient manner resulting in a great candidate experience.
Accountable to ensure up to date on legal requirements related to day-to-day HR matters, reducing legal risk and ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations. Partners with Legal as needed.
Manage the immigration process of all cases ensuring clear communications with all involved parties ensuring a smooth process.
Coach leaders through the employee “life cycle” including onboarding, development, performance management, engagement, recognition, retention, and separation.
Drive positive employee relations, reinforce Company Values & Behaviors to foster a positive environment.
Manage resolution to complex employee relations issues, conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
