Beacon Hill has partnered with an elite Chicago based law firm to find a dynamic HR Director to support their dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work in the heart of River North.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of HR including benefits, recruitment, payroll, compensation, training, employee relations, performance management and moreOversee onboarding and offboarding processes.Coordinate benefits administration and non-benefit related insurance renewals.Lead and mentor 2 HR team members.Conduct staff reviews and contribute to succession planning.Handle secretarial meetings and ensure operational support needs are met.Assist with executive committee and partnership-related tasks.Review vendor contracts and manage the annual budget for GL accounts.Participate in ALA Benefits & Compensation Survey annually.Develop and maintain employee handbooks for non-exempt and exempt employees.

Job Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in a generalized HR role.Preferably from a legal or professional services firm background.Strong managerial experience with a broad HR skill set.Hands-on approach with the ability to handle varied HR responsibilities.Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to attend monthly executive committee meetings.Ability to work onsite 4-5 days a week
