Opportunity Overview
Responsibilities:
The HR Director - Philippines will be responsible for outstanding service and operational excellence delivering HR programs to employees in the Philippines, with a focus on efficiency, data, and technology for all Teradyne business groups and subsidiaries (LitePoint, Robotics group). This position has 5 direct reports located in Cebu and reports to the Regional HR Director – APAC.
This position within the Regional HR team is part of a team of global HR team of professionals, which include the Center of Excellences (COEs) - Talent Management, Global Compensation, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and HR operations teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in the continuous improvement and development of the Philippines regional HR team while delivering best practices for service delivery to all Philippines employees. This position will require organizational, employee-focused experience to create robust operational processes which are aligned with all business groups.
The HR Director - Philippines is responsible for the following:
+ Adopt and/ or initiate use of automated tools and resources to best support employees and managers.
+ Provide local support and rollout of new and annual HR programs and policies such as talent management, compensation, and workforce planning (in conjunction with HRBPs and COEs).
+ Advocate HR programs, policies and local HR improvement projects
+ Drive active engagement with employees and managers to solicit feedback and data on company programs and policies to collaborate with COEs and HRBPs to design global programs and policies with local considerations.
+ Possess strong country intimacy for handling specific issues such as: employment legal compliance, employee relations, employee life-cycle management, crisis management, hybrid workforce planning, global mobility, business continuity planning.
+ Able to handle crisis and make sound and reasoned discretionary quick decisions.
+ Drive successful talent acquisition (Sourcing and Recruiting) execution and delivery across all business groups.
+ Support all HR related questions from employees and managers.
+ Ensure successful rollout of company benefits and changes – compensation, statutory and company benefits.
+ Coach & provide support (as needed) to the employee welfare committee for employee welfare activities.
+ Work closely with HR operations team to ensure successful execution of HR transactional processes with a focus on standardization, quality, and efficiency.
+ Develop strong working relationship with service collaborators and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery to employees and managers – Local Managers, Global Business Leaders, COEs, HRBPs, HR Operations, Payroll, Finance and HR service vendors.
+ Negotiate service agreements with HR service vendors to ensure strong service offerings.
+ Coaching and developing local managers and the Philippines regional HR team, collaborating with HR team, and other cross-functional business partners and providing career pathways within the HR function.
+ Participate in regional and global HR meetings and projects.

Requirements:
+ Graduate of Psychology, Human Resources Management or any other related degrees.
+ Have at least 15 years of HR related experience.
+ Knowledge and experience in various HR functions.
+ Well-versed with the Philippines employment laws and labor standards.
+ Knowledge and experience in navigating HR tools and Success Factors
+ Ability to grow and develop Philippines regional HR team members.
+ Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to relevant stakeholders.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
+ Track record of successfully juggling multiple projects and priorities.
+ Able to navigate ambiguity and quickly shift direction when priorities change.
+ Expected to travel regionally as required.
+ Relevant experience in HR positions in a multinational company.
