Pernod Ricard Winemakers is going through a period of change where our global wine business is currently in the process of merging with another global wine business anticipated for completion approximately May 2025.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of the change, as a key HR team member from the infancy of this new business. A chance to be on the ground helping to transition our Barossa operational workforce and help them settle in. Get your hands dirty with change and culture programs, assist managers and their teams to adapt to new ways of working, help determine the best strategic way forward for our Enterprise Agreements including taking the lead on the process and facilitation of negotiations, supported by the Senior HR Manager and operational leads.
Reporting into the Senior HR Manager – Pacific Operations, the role supports our Barossa and broader South Australian operations footprint including, winery, vineyards, manufacturing, warehousing, cellar doors and back-office support functions. The role has a focus on driving best in practice employee relations and people performance culture.
Based in the Barossa Valley where the majority of our operational footprint and employees are located.
You are an HR professional with a passion for employee/industrial relations as the role supports leaders who are managing employees covered by a Collective Agreement. We also guide the business through key HR lifecycle events such as performance development reviews, merit campaigns and talent assessment.

Be the technical specialist. Represent and support the business on all employment legislation, company policies and Workplace Agreements.
Facilitate the process of renegotiating our Enterprise Agreements as they come up for expiry
Coordinate the employee lifestyle tasks for high performance culture, educating the business on the performance development processes.
Partner with the business to assess and plan change management activities involving our people.
Manage full end to end employee workplace grievances and investigations.
Coach, mentor, train the business in being a high-performance employee culture.
