The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, working closely with BYU-Pathway departments and senior management in supporting workforce planning, talent management strategies and initiatives, and compliance for an increasingly global organization. The HR Generalist works with the Church HR department including international Area HR teams, and other Church Education System (CES) HR departments. This position supports the HR team in managing and covering responsibilities in functional areas such as employee relations, training and development, performance management, onboarding, policy formulation and implementation, recruitment, benefits administration, employment law compliance, and compensation analysis.
Important: This position requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 8 years of full-time Human Resource experience. Experience working with an international workforce is highly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. When working with the international teams, an adjustment in core business hours is required. Some weekend work may be needed during times of high volume or deadlines that need to be met. Some travel may be required and projected to be less than 10%.
