HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our human resources operations, with a focus on employee engagement, benefits administration, and performance management. This position offers a hybrid work environment after an initial onboarding period, allowing for a balance of in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities:
• Take the lead on managing and executing various HR projects to ensure effective implementation.
• Oversee employee relations initiatives, fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.
• Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Coordinate and support the performance review process, promoting continuous feedback and development.
• Act as a mentor and team lead to other HR team members, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies across HR functions.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that align HR practices with organizational goals.
• Utilize HR technology platforms to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Address and resolve employee concerns with professionalism and confidentiality. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a strong emphasis on benefits administration.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce.
• Solid understanding of employee relations, compliance, and FMLA regulations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with employees and leadership.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using HR software and tools to optimize workflows.
