HR Generalist

We are hiring an HR Generalist for a family owned services business headquartered in Montgomery County!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing firm with a positive and close knit culture and a great team to work with. This is an on premise role, full time, Monday-Friday with a traditional day shift schedule. Looking for a team player with an industrious and friendly demeanor. Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience in processing payroll internally. Experience with QuickBooks and Paychex strongly preferred. Experience with HR duties such as onboarding new employees, enrolling in benefits plans and 401K management.

SHRM Certified preferred but not required.

This is an full time on premise job, Monday-Friday.  Salary plus full benefits package.

This role will be responsible for managing and executing payroll processes, maintaining employee records, and providing comprehensive HR support. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, labor laws, and HR best practices. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.

Candidates should have at least 3 years' experience processing payroll.

 

This role will be responsible for a bi-weekly payroll, employee relations and other key projects at the company. Paychex experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of QuickBooks a plus Reconcile payroll to general ledger and bank statements Ensure proper processing of payroll including taxes, benefits and other deductions Understanding of federal and state payroll regulations Experience with HRIS and online timekeeping systems Maintain employee information in online system
