HR Generalist

The primary scope of the position is to support the Head of HR in all functions and act as a counsel and coach to non-managerial employees in regards to HR policies, procedures and systems while ensuring that Group and Regional policies and procedures are understood by employees. The position reports to the Head of HR.     

 

Key Responsibilities - What you do:

Manage the end-to-end recruiting administrative process (craft and post job ads, application of Success Factors and LinkedIn Recruiter, screen candidates, arrange interviews, manage offer letters, etc.) and ensure that recruiting timelines are respected.  Be responsible for top-notch pre-onboarding and onboarding; overview hiring documents and ensure that the hiring process is according to the Greek Labour Law, prepare employment contracts, oversee mandatory onboarding training completion, organize and ensure timely execution of new hires' induction. Coordinate with external payroll provider to manage information flow (i.e. new hires, departures, org. changes, etc.), be responsible for smooth monthly payroll execution and ensure accurate benefits administration for tax reasons. Owner of local reporting activities and HR Metrics for Group, Region and Local Management. Serve as the local first point of contact for HRIS (SAP Success Factors) for Group and Region, train and support managers and employees at local level. Act as a counsel on HR policies, procedures and systems for the local population. Prepare internal announcements regarding job rotations, role changes, hirings, transversal projects, etc. Keep up-to-date personnel data and manage administrative tasks for employees including employment certifications, sickness payments and vacation day entitlements in accordance with Greek Labour Law. Liaise with local institutes and organizations (SSI, OAED) for any employee issues (i.e. payment of social contributions, maternity leaves, etc.). Address special needs for international employees (expatriates). Prepare, analyze and oversee the annual Employee Engagement Survey on local level together with business managers and local Management and define appropriate action plans. Promote a lifelong learning culture, support the execution of annual training plan based on Training Needs Survey, connect and coordinate with training providers both for tailor-made and standard trainings, organize and deliver training presentations. Maintain the Learning Management System (SF LMS) on local level by enrolling employees to complete courses and monitoring recorded learning hours for BU. Assist in all audit requests, be responsible for all regulatory reporting (i.e. ERGANI) and be the HR contact person for the internal procurement process. Organize corporate events (i.e. annual Christmas party, teambuildings, etc.), prepare and oversee the corporate wellbeing framework.

 

Key Requirements - What you bring:

3-5 years of working experience in Human Resources, preferably as an HR Generalist Proven experience and a solid understanding of Compensation and ERGANI Information System are a must Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or any other field Master's degree in Human Resources Management  Working knowledge of Greek Labour Legislation Application of SAP Success Factors is highly desirable  Technological savvy with advanced knowledge of MS Office  Fluency in both English and Greek (oral and written at a professional corporate level) Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external parties in an effective and positive manner Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities under pressure Able to build relationships and credibility with employees, managers and the Regional HR team   Can do customer-centric mentality; ability to share best practices on people-related issues Resilience, internal drive and patience to make a difference   Quick ability to grasp and apply the business strategies and objectives being implemented
