HR Generalist – Carmel, IN

The HR Generalist provides support to the organization to enable development, engagement, and support for the assigned businesses as well as general support to HR team members. This position will work closely with people across the organization and will gain an understanding of how to support the business’ strategies through people. The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting processes related to engagement, employee relations, reporting and metrics, early career programs, talent acquisition, talent development and compensation.

What You Will Do:

Manage all processes related to HR policies for assigned client groups (Service Awards, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Referrals, etc.)Manage Leave of Absence and ADA processes for assigned client groups and partner closely with Benefits teamWork within the Americas HR team to proactively develop and execute solutions to support business strategyEstablish and maintain productive internal and external working relationshipsCoach managers and employees on Workday Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service functionalityLead the off-boarding and exit process for terminations in assigned client groupsCreate and maintain reports and dashboards to support client groups including regular auditing and maintenance to drive data integrity and accuracy across HR systemsManage communications and reporting to ensure timely completion of core HR processes such as performance management, annual compensation planning, and employee engagement surveysProvide support for Talent Management processes (such as Succession Planning, Individual Development Plans, etc.).Provide Talent Acquisition and onboarding support for assigned client groups, which includes exempt & non-exempt rolesPartner with compensation for salary market analysis, total rewards projects, and equity program support as neededPartner with Talent Acquisition COE and assigned client groups to support talent programs such as internships, co-ops, and other early career programsIdentify and recommend opportunities for HR Process improvementsAdditional projects to support client groups as needed

What You Need to Succeed:

3+ years of experience in Human Resources with experience in leaves of absence, talent management, talent acquisition, compensation, or benefitsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business Management, Psychology, or related fieldStrong technological skills, including HRIS experience (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge and experience with leaves of absence and local, state and federal requirementsKnowledge and experience with employment law including local, state and federal preferredExperience analyzing data and creating dashboardsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leaders both in-person and writtenDetail-oriented, organized, with a strong sense of urgencyProven ability to problem solve, manage conflict, influence, multi-task, and manage changeAbility to travel up to 10%
