Description We are in the search for an HR Generalist to join our team in the Restaurants & Catering industry, specifically located in NORTHPORT, New York, 11768-2878, United States. The role is an opportunity for short term contract employment. As an HR Generalist, your main focus will be on managing high volume employee files, ensuring compliance, handling pay notifications, and updating relevant employee records. Responsibilities: • Manage high volume employee data to ensure all information is up-to-date and compliant • Regularly review and update I-9 forms for all employees • Oversee the open enrollment process, ensuring the smooth onboarding of new employees • Handle pay notifications promptly and accurately • Ensure all employee raises are processed and implemented in a timely manner • Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for various HR functions • Manage employee relations and address any issues that may arise • Ensure compliance with all company and industry regulations • Handle Benefit Functions, ensuring all employee benefits are administered properly • Use communication skills to effectively manage relationships with employees and address their inquiries. Requirements • Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now • Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is needed • Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce platforms • Knowledge of Benefit Functions and related HR processes • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Demonstrated ability to maintain compliance with company policies and legal regulations • Experience in managing Employee Relations • Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies and procedures • Must be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant and catering environment • Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative in problem-solving • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
