HR Generalist
Job Title: HR GeneralistJob Description This role encompasses Human Resource Generalist duties for the United States and Canada branches, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and benefits management. The HR Generalist will engage with multiple systems to screen and recruit the best candidates, coordinate interviews across different time zones, prepare offers, and manage background checks and compliance requirements. The role also involves new hire onboarding, setting up technology, and managing compensation, health benefits, and insurance. Responsibilities + Recruit through different systems to screen the best candidates. + Set up and hold interviews across various time zones. + Prepare job offers. + Manage background checks and ensure compliance with company standards. + Conduct new hire onboarding, including creating phone numbers and ordering business cards. + Set up payroll for internal payment and handle insurance and 401k enrollment. + Communicate with the IT team to set up technology for new hires. + Coordinate and manage compensation, including sales incentives. + Manage health benefits and insurance, updating employees on changes as needed. + Coordinate regional alignment of global job titles, descriptions, and salaries. + Train and develop new hires in Human Resources. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including hiring practices, wages, hours, workplace safety (OSHA), legal compliance with different types of leave, record-keeping, data privacy, and anti-discrimination/harassment policies. + Understand and ensure compliance with ACA, FMLA, OSHA, EPA, ADA. + Coordinate and procure marketing collateral. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience in Human Resources. + 3+ years of recruiting and hiring experience. + Experience with onboarding and interviewing candidates. + Understanding of federal, state, and local law compliance (FMLA, OSHA, ACA, EPA, ADA, etc.). + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Experience with payroll, employee benefits, and background checks. + Knowledge of OSHA and FMLA regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. + Experience with HRIS systems and software integrations. Work Environment This position is fully onsite. The candidate should be open to starting at 6 AM to accommodate communication with the European branch. Early start times are preferred.
