HR Generalist

The HR Generalist is a crucial role aimed at supporting Hasbro's HR Enablement function. This role is centered on the execution of HR initiatives, ensuring smooth operation of day-to-day human resources tasks, and contributing to a cohesive employee experience that aligns with the company’s culture and values. The HR Generalist will be a key resource within the region for our employees and Managers to ensure the successful deployment of HR Policies and Process as well as a key contact point for coaching and mentoring of our Managers.


Responsibilities:

Provide coaching and mentorship to managers on HR policies and processes, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to become more effective leaders who can foster a positive and compliant workplace culture. Facilitate Key HR activities as directed, such as talent management, engagement, learning and development, career coaching, mentoring, employee relations, and performance management. Collaborate on initiatives with the global enablement team, HRBPs, and COEs to improve the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. Align with the regional enablement team to ensure that local execution of tasks supports overarching HR and Company Priorities. Offer HR support to employees, serving as a key operational contact for HR-related queries and issues. Act as an advocate for employee concerns, providing the leadership team with insights on employee sentiment, workplace culture, and morale within the country. Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and adherence to company policies. Support the execution and management of HR policies and practices adhering to the strategic direction set by regional HR leadership. Work closely with the company's shared services centre to deliver efficient HR services to employees within the country. Support organizational change management at the country level, facilitating smooth transitions during periods of change. Address and resolve employee relations issues within the country, conducting thorough investigations when necessary.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong operational background. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.   Proven experience in the successful implementation of HR initiatives and programs that have a direct impact on business performance. Knowledge of HR operations, systems, and industry best practices,  Experience in a global or multi-regional organization is beneficial, with a keen understanding of cultural nuances within the country. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in engaging effectively across all levels of the organization. Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment. Leadership or team management experience is a plus, with potential responsibility for a team contingent on the organizational structure and needs.
