HR Generalist
Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an HR Generalist in the manufacturing industry. The workplace is located in Memphis, Tennessee, 38127, United States. Responsibilities: • Overseeing the full cycle recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires • Utilizing Paychex software for various HR tasks such as monitoring hours worked and managing Paid Time Off (PTO) • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies • Addressing and resolving employee conflicts and issues effectively • Walking the floor to establish a visible HR presence and foster positive employee relations • Managing Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests and procedures • Conducting regular reviews of benefit functions to ensure they meet employee needs • Maintaining open lines of communication with all employees, helping to build a positive work environment. Requirements • Proven experience in Benefit Functions, including designing, evaluating and modifying benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively deal with various departments, seniority levels, and external stakeholders • Strong understanding of Compliance laws and regulations related to HR and employment • Experience in handling Employee Relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and performance improvement • Proficiency in Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration and other related employment laws • Experience with Paychex HR software for payroll, HR, benefits, and insurance management • Proven track record in Full Cycle Recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates • Knowledge and experience in employee Onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the organization TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
