We are currently seeking to fill the following position for ourBuffalolocation. HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST The Human Resources (HR) Generalist will report to the Director of HR and support many aspects of the HR Department. This position will be responsible for a variety of HR functions including but not limited to; processing of new hire paperwork, benefits administration, working with and assisting in managing our HRIS (Paycom), responding to phone and email inquiries. The position will also process various leaves of absence and will support and be the back up to the Payroll Administrator. The successful candidate will have a professional and positive attitude and will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties and responsibilities + Assist with the efficient and timely recruitment of qualified candidates + Conduct and support the new hire orientation and onboarding process + Input candidate data in appropriate systems and maintain accurate, up-to-date records + Create and/or complete job descriptions and perform necessary revisions as needed + Ensure personnel files are in accordance with standard operating procedures and applicable state and federal regulations + Primary person responsible for benefit administration, including billing reconciliation and annual employee open enrollment + Communicates with employees regarding HR subjects, policies and issues. + Collects and shares with Director of HR the concerns and improvement suggestions provided by employees. + Coordinates and tracks recruitment activities for open positions as needed. + Maintain and/or develop policies and procedures that comply with all State and Federal guidelines + Process FMLA, Disability, Workers Comp and other leaves + Process payroll as needed + May be asked to travel to our Charlotte, NC location Qualifications Qualifications: + Minimum 3 years experience in Human Resources + Experience in benefits and payroll administration + Experience working in an HRIS (Paycom experience preferred) + Experience with Microsoft Office programs + Experience working with all levels of management and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information Education: + Minimum of Associate Degree in Management, Business, Human Resources or related field (Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management preferred) + PHR or other HR Certification(s) preferred Competitive salary offered with a generous benefit package including medical, dental, life, 401k match and more.
