HR Generalist

Position Overview
The HR Generalist will partner with business leaders to maintain optimal staffing levels, foster an inclusive culture, drive engagement initiatives, and implement HR programs. This role ensures compliance with legal and organizational policies, actively supports associate relations, and contributes to training, retention, and operational support.\nKey Responsibilities\n

Associate Relations\n\nPartner with leaders to manage recruitment processes and promptly fill vacancies.\nFacilitate business and team meetings to maintain visibility and support.\nConduct new associate orientations to promote a positive culture.\nAddress employment-related inquiries and resolve sensitive matters.\nConduct thorough, objective investigations and advise leadership on resolution strategies.\nOversee performance review programs to ensure equity and compliance.\nSupport disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations.\nDrive recognition programs, engagement surveys, and associate communications.\nEnsure wage program compliance and investigate safety incidents.\nAdminister exit interviews to identify reasons behind separations.\nProvide performance management guidance and training to leadership.\n\n

Retention and Training\n\nManage compliance with mandatory and optional training programs.\nCollaborate with leadership to improve morale, productivity, and retention.\nEvaluate and monitor training programs to ensure their effectiveness.\n\n

Operational Support\n\nConduct weekly meetings with business leaders.\nAnalyze HR metrics and recommend solutions and policy adjustments.\nMaintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.\nGuide workforce planning, restructuring, and succession planning.\nOversee HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance, and safety.\n\n

Additional Duties
This description is not exhaustive, and responsibilities may evolve as needed.\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.\nAt least 1 year of HR experience preferred.\nSHRM-CP certification is a plus.\nKnowledge of HR disciplines, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.\nStrong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.\nProficiency in time management and meeting deadlines.\n\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\n\nOn-site role at the Glendale, WI Distribution Center.\nRegularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.\nSpecial vision requirements: close vision.\nQuiet office environment with standard office equipment usage.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\n
