Basic Job Functions:

The HR Generalist will promote safety, ensure consistency, maintain best practices, and serve as a resource for the division. The HR Generalist is responsible for Benefit assistance, orientation/on-boarding, processing payroll, maintaining employee files, FMLA and LTD tracking, full cycle recruitment, Learning Management System, assisting teammates with day-to-day inquiries and other duties as assigned. This position will report directly to the HR & Talent Manager

Minimum Qualifications: Four years of work experience in an HR related field OR Bachelor degree in a related field Detailed Selection Criteria: Strong commitment to safety in all aspects of the job Communication Skills: The ability to give full attention to what others are saying and communicating information so that others will understand. Organizing, Planning and Prioritizing Work: Developing specific goals and plans for prioritizing, organizing, and accomplishing individual work and/or the work of the team. Accountability & Dependability: Displays responsibility, reliability, is committed to fulfilling work obligations and can hold others accountable for desired results. Customer Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. This also includes effectively anticipating and meeting customer needs and the ability to adjust approach based on the situation. Attention to Detail: Thorough in accomplishing tasks, no matter how small they may be, and taking care to make sure thqat expectations are met. Preferred Qualifications: Payroll and HR experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment SAP or similar HRIS experience HR Certification
