Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in San Diego, California. This role is crucial in maintaining a harmonious workplace environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing employee relations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee employee accommodation requests, including educating employees and managers on accommodations, assisting managers in completing undue hardship analysis, and making recommendations.
• Act as a point of reference for employees and managers for all leaves of absence, coordinating the administration of leaves with employees, managers, and Payroll and Benefits departments.
• Handle general employee relations support tasks such as assisting with investigations, corrective performance measures, and advising best practices for handling employee issues.
• Maintain a high level of discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex situations.
• Ensure legal compliance with Leave of Absence regulations and accommodations/undue hardships.
• Leverage your knowledge of ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now in managing HR processes.
• Oversee benefit functions and ensure compliance with FMLA regulations.
• Monitor and manage disciplinary action processes in accordance with best practices. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services, demonstrating an understanding of its applications within the healthcare industry.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, showcasing the ability to manage and streamline HR processes.
• Solid understanding of benefit functions, including the administration of employee benefits and ensuring their alignment with company policies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements in the healthcare industry, and the ability to implement and monitor compliance strategies.
• Proven experience in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
• Familiarity with the FMLA and managing the leave of absence process, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
• Experience in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance sectors is preferred, but not essential. TalentMatch®
