HR Generalist
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist with hands-on experience in ERP implementation to join our team in Downey, CA. This role will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws, and playing a key role in the successful integration of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for HR operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS/ERP implementation, payroll, benefits administration, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: + ERP Implementation & HRIS Management + Assist in the planning, testing, and deployment of a new ERP system for HR functions, including payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and employee records. + Collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure a smooth transition and troubleshoot system issues. + Train employees and HR staff on the new system and develop user guides for system functionalities. + HR Operations & Compliance + Manage employee records, benefits administration, onboarding, and offboarding processes. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including FMLA, FLSA, and ADA. + Support payroll processing, employee leave management, and HR audits. + Handle employee relations, address workplace concerns, and foster a positive work environment. + Recruitment & Talent Management + Support talent acquisition efforts by coordinating job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews. + Assist with performance management processes, employee training, and development initiatives. + Process Improvement & Reporting + Analyze HR data and generate reports on workforce metrics, payroll trends, and compliance. + Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and system enhancements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, with at least 1 year of ERP implementation experience. Knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll software, and ERP platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Strong understanding of California labor laws and HR best practices. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. Experience training employees on new HR technologies is a plus.
