Description Robert Half is assisting a well-respected client in San Diego, CA, in their search for an experienced HR Generalist. Key Responsibilities: Administer and oversee daily HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations. Act as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and compliance-related matters. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with California labor laws. Manage employee performance evaluations and identify opportunities for talent development. Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations matters in a fair and consistent manner. Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate timekeeping and benefits integration. Collaborate with leadership to improve workplace culture and engagement initiatives. Stay informed on HR trends and recommend updates to systems and processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of HR experience, including generalist or specialist roles. Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance requirements. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) is a plus.
