HR Generalist
What you’ll do: As the HR Generalist you will provide support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to assessment and selection, employee relations, compensation management, organization development, training and special projects across GEIS India sites.Manage the recruitment process for both permanent and temporary positions from sourcing to onboarding. Conduct New Employee Orientation for new employees.Develop and maintain healthy connections with internal stakeholders and COEs and handle queries along with other HR team members. Coordinate employee engagement initiatives for employee surveys, employee wellness activities, CSR, I&D events. Support in conducting Employee Listening sessions and support in implementing the action plan of the employee census.Assist with updating and ensuring policies are compliant with Tamil Nadu State Legislation, ISO and other standards. Support to ensure compliances to all statutory requirements, maintain accurate records of employee data compliant with Tamil Nadu legislation. Manage key Human Resources administrative tasks, including internal communications reward & recognition tracking, employee benefits, and flexible working requests. Maintain plant discipline and support in disciplinary action and process. Support Managers with the completion of first level disciplinary, grievances, attendance management reviews and other employee relations matters. Collect and analyze accurate and timely data for established and relevant HR metricsDesign and delivery of training as required. Ensure adherence to MESH compliances and audits.Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by supporting related initiatives by establishing, maintaining and implementing standard work and other tools.Support in development of retention strategies and help implement them. Plan and create a budget for the admin responsibilities. Manage the Admin function for the Plant and other offices that will include security, canteen, transport and other ongoing activities.Experience in bulk hiring for NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme).Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Resource Management (MBA HR) / Master of Social Work in Labour Law (MSW)10+ Years of experience (Experience working with Manufacturing Industry for 5+ Years)Proficiency speaking in Tamil is must
