HR Generalist

Will go hybrid 2 days/week work from home after 6 months!

Description

Assists in various human resource functions; recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, personnel records management, conducting employee orientation programs, and policy enforcement.Lead recruiting efforts by facilitating job openings, coordinating with recruiting agencies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, testing, and follow-through communications on candidates and the stages in the process.Manage the onboarding process for direct hires and temps and lead orientation.Assist in the planning, coordination, and facilitation of the following yearly NEBF events: Employee Appreciation Day, Holiday Party, monthly events, etc.Transmit payroll and/or salary changes to accounting team and benefit carriers when applicable.Reconcile monthly invoicing of benefits.Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the executive team.Aid in monthly newsletter content creation.Facilitate administration of leave paperwork when applicable.Assist in yearly compliance reporting such as ACA and EEO.Maintain personnel files for employees.Manage offboarding process; coordinate exit interview, equipment collection, final pay details, and termination paperwork.Update documents and links that are shared with the staff.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Other duties as assigned

Skills

2+ years of human resources experience

ADP experience

Kronos is a plus

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $31.25/hr.
