We are looking for:

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with all levels of the organization and will support sites in Louisiana and Texas. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Kronos/Time management systems, employee engagement and development, policy implementation, recruitment/employment site support and employment law compliance.

 

We can count on you to:

Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel

assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.  

Assist in recruitment support on site for salaried and hourly personnel;

assist in new-hire orientation; monitor and assist in career-path programs/succession planning; write job descriptions and post positions at the site level as needed.

Assist in conducting “stay” and exit interviews.

Perform benefits related administration, including sick leave monitoring, and communicating benefits information to employees. 

Assist in payroll responsibilities. 

Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. 

Assist in other site related duties, i.e. distribution of gift cards, etc.

You will bring:

Bachelor's Degree required

2 - 4+ years of related experience in human resources 

Union experience preferred.

Technical skills; including experience with Kronos, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite.

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $70,000 - $80,000/annually. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
