Job Description
As the HR Generalist Spain and Portugal, you will be responsible for a variety of Human Resources tasks or programs, including advising people managers on the execution of performance management, coaching, corrective action issues, team building, employee development and compliance programs. You will provide primary operational (daily) support for our managers and employees. We ask that you have team participation and interfaces within all areas of Human Resources to provide support for managers and employees. The HRG will also help expand the HR presence throughout the organization and supporting culture shifts through targeted programs.
You will report to the Manager, Sr. HR Business Partner and have a hybrid schedule working in Barcelona.
Your Responsibilities:Provide support for on-site audit/compliance reviews (regulatory/legal requirements). Comply with local laws related to ensuring a positive, non-discriminatory, and safe work environment, and local union or work council requirements. These changes may include reviewing policies, procedures, handbooks, and employment documents.Ensure, when site specific, all local policies and procedures are up to date along with any transition needed according to local legal requirements.Partner with HRBP and Legal on execution employee investigations.Provide feedback to HRBPs, COEs and HR Services to assist those functions to deliver continuous improvement and consistency to all employees.Local deployment support of HR programs.Provide support to ESP works council process, where required.Deliver HR training activities provided by the COEs or HR Services to managers and employees.Provide regional benefits support when needed.Require data for local activities when needed: tax audit, investigation, invoice data entry, legal review, EHS, compensation guidance, represent company in employee dispute.Manage, with input from hiring manager, all voluntary terminations, reductions in force. This includes planning, costing, and documenting all stages of the exit (with the support from HRBPs).Provide guidance to local managers.Provide support for any company-wide changes or programs.Provide local support for corporate programs, such as engagement and inclusion programs, global voices (employee survey) and action planning.Partner with HRBP and leaders at a local level to bring value and support to the business.The Essentials - You Will Have:Minimum 2 years' human resources experience, including direct, hands-on experience managing employment issues.Experience at global matrix organization.Very good command of English and Spanish (written & spoken).Bachelor's Degree within Human Resources, Business, or related.Understanding of local labor law and it's influence on the business.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Experience with HR software- Workday.Capability- assist colleagues to work through change and support change management processes.Team orientation and ability to collaborate with partners and other HR members.What We Offer:Our benefits package includes …
