Achieve a deep understanding of the business strategy, goals, and objectives to support the business needs on various projects and assignments by providing data-driven, HR related insight. Provide support to HR and business leadership by partnering to assess the needs of the business and seek to create HR specific solutions. Administers human resource programs designed to establish and maintain effective associate relations and government compliance through the application of policies, procedures, systems, and metrics. 

Responsibilities

Human Resources Generalist II

Oversees and supports the company's pre-employment background screening program including MVR, E-Verify, criminal, drug, employment verification, and other screening as required.

Leads provisional review process and ensures timely screening processes.

Maintains the HR intranet site including site access and security, content management, communications, and enhancements. 

Provides end-user support to HR and management.

Coordinates and assists with HR programs to ensure compliance in areas of equal employment opportunity (EEO), E-Verify, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and affirmative action, immigration, department of labor (DOL), and company policies and procedures.

Provides leadership in responding to audit requests from regulatory agencies as the central point of contact, including collecting and reporting data and responding to inquiries.

Assists with the development, implementation, and communication of human resources policies and procedures.

Conducts associate relations investigations as assigned, documents findings and recommendations, and counsels and coaches management and associates. 

Develops, monitors, analyzes, and reports HR metrics and trends.

Coordinates and assists with HR programs to ensure compliance in areas of equal employment opportunity (EEO), E-Verify, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and affirmative action, immigration, department of labor (DOL) and company policies and procedures

Monitors and analyzes HR data and statistics as well as produces and distributes regular and ad hoc reports

Drives the development of people management skills and provides objective perspective on employee and leadership issues

Takes the lead on various corporate projects and teams related to HR initiatives

Partners with HR centers of excellence in order to meet various objectives and facilitate resolution of employee and leader issues

Assists with on the job training of new or developing HR Generalists

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of HR or related experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred

Technical expertise with Microsoft SharePoint or related content management and collaboration tools preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of HR principles and practices and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., EEO, OFCCP, FLSA, DOL, EEV)

Ability to manage confidential data and information

Organizational, project, and process management skills

Written and verbal communication skills, including developing and delivering presentations

Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and attention to details

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint administration and content management skills

Pay Ranges$54,983.00 - $91,638.00

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
