Team overview and job responsibilities
We are looking for a HR Intern to join our HR team. Based in Heredia - Costa Rica, some work experience would be an advantage but is not essential - ultimately, it’s your desire to learn and your blend of communication, organization and team working skills that will be important. Tasks And Responsibilities
o Maintain HR Workday database and ensure standards of accuracy and quality as well as compliance with relevant procedures.
o Assist with recruiting of key talent, new hire on-boarding and Learning & Development initiatives.
o Consistently follow defined HR processes, challenge steps that may not make sense / add value.
o Process documentation in accordance the possible changes together with process and system experts.
o Develop a good working relationship with the PG HR community through timely and accurate administration of HR processes, and early identification of requirements and any service issues.
o Works closely with management supervisors and hourly employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity and retention.
o Fosters the highest level of commitment among our people through transparent communication about business challenges, successes, and results.
o Open to partner feedback and use it to improve our service offering.
o Support the Human Resources Manager through completion of daily HR related tasks including filing, office organization, project coordination, creation of employee communications and events organization.
Who are we looking for?
o Active student of Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Engineering or related field.
o Proficiency with Microsoft applications; other like Canva, LinkedIn, etc. are considered a plus.
o Availability for a minimum of 6 months.
o Intermediate English level. Advanced English is a plus.
o Strategic mindset: anticipate future trends and implications accurately.
o Energized when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty; deals constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes.
o Personal commitment with continuous improvement.
o Proactivity and teamwork.
