General Summary:

Under the general direction of the Vice President, Human Resources, provides support and assistance to the Human Resource Leadership team and staff by performing various clerical, administrative, delegated responsibilities.  These duties require a thorough understanding of the organizational structure of Fisher-Titus Health system and a high degree of confidentiality is critical for optimizing the work done in the Human Resources Department. 

Essential Functions: Responds to calls and visits from employees, leaders, and others and determines the urgency of the situation and directs phone calls to appropriate person. Composes correspondence, memos, meeting minutes and reports, as instructed. Schedules meetings and training's and makes meeting preparations for Human Resources Leadership as requested, which includes scheduling meeting rooms, organizing room set-up and ensuring participants have an agenda and all necessary materials. Successfully makes all preparations for Fisher-Titus Health special events and training's. Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of team both inter and intra-departmentally to facilitate the department's ability to meet its goals and objectives. Assists in providing day-to-day management of active personnel files and prepares non-active personnel files for archiving for all Fisher-Titus Health entities plus accurately files all personnel file documents. Assists with new employee orientation, pre-employment requirements and onboarding.  Serves as an administrator for designated software programs such as employee performance manger, learning management system, and department SharePoint intranet page and stays current with systems, providing updates to users as needed to advance the skills and abilities of employees. Performs data entry and utilizes a variety of computer programs to track employee attendance at training's and sends training reports to department leaders.ng functions and initiatives to ensure hiring managers remain informed of new applicants and prospective candidates.
