ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company, is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for a summer internship position at our Hanover Park, IL location on our HR team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in HR operations and the opportunity to assist in the execution of HR processes, policies and programs, working closely and taking direction from the Human Resources Manager. **Responsibilities:** + Assist in the Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and Orientation Processes following all Federal, Local and Company requirements. + Analyze current new hire onboarding procedures and identify areas for improvement. + Develop and implement best practices and procedures to enhance the workflow of new hires integrating into ProAmpac. + Organize, maintain and update employee files including HRIS systems. + Provide administrative support to various HR functions such as auditing, employee relations, and performance management. + Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and special projects as assigned. **Benefits:** + Hands-on experience in various HR functions. + Mentorship and guidance from experienced HR professionals. + Networking opportunities within the industry. + Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications. **Requirements:** + Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, majoring in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess processes and propose efficient solutions. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. + Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
