Position: Human Resource Intern (Disable Candidates Only)
Department: Human Resources
Reporting to: HR Officer
Duration: 1 year
Primary Purpose of Role: provide support to the Human Resources department by performing administrative tasks, assisting with recruitment processes, assisting with payroll processes, maintaining employee records, and gaining practical experience in various HR functions, all while learning the fundamentals of HR practices within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Administration
Maintain filing system of personal files & SharePoint.Maintain the filing system for all terminations i.e., UIF, Certificates of service.Pull out the time and attendance report from the Access system and send it to each department.Collate all inputs from the departments and scan them to HR Officer.Maintain all payroll filing.Assist with HR requisitions i.e., recruitment, projects, training, etc.Take minutes.Assist the IT department with administrative tasks.Handling & Organising training for employees.Recruitment
Post all adverts on noticeboards.Remove all expired adverts from the noticeboards.Prepare interview packs.Complete regret letters for internal employees and file.Prepare new engagement forms for personal files.Create Clocking tags, Order stationary & PPE for new employees.All other responsibilities
Assist with the HR Audit requirements.Assist in the planning of all HR events.Gather information for supplier onboarding.Create requisitions (COUPA) in-house system.Any other assigned duties by the HR Manager or HR officer.Applicable qualifications and/or experience required.
Completed National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management.Some experience in HR administration would be an advantage but is not a requirement.Candidates with more than 12 months of work experience cannot be considered for this Internship role.A solid foundation and basic experience in computer literacy will be advantageous as you will be working extensively with our internal systems (including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and Word).Skills & Attributes
