Position Overview:

The Head of HR for India and the Philippines is responsible for overseeing the human resources functions across both countries for our Global Business Solutions organizations. This role will drive the HR strategy, policies, and operations, ensuring alignment with our company’s global objectives. You will work closely with senior leadership teams in both regions to build and sustain a high-performance culture, develop talent, and ensure the overall success of the HR function as well as manage matrix relationships with multiple teams across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company business objectives in India and the Philippines. Provide leadership to HR teams in both regions, ensuring effective collaboration and implementation of HR initiatives. Partner with senior management to drive change, transformation, and innovation in HR practices. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Lead talent acquisition strategies to meet the evolving needs of the business in India and the Philippines. Forecast workforce requirements, ensuring that talent management and succession planning are aligned with business goals. Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top talent in both regions. Employee Experience & Engagement: Create a culture of engagement, diversity, and inclusion in both India and the Philippines. Lead the design and implementation of associate engagement surveys and act on the results to foster an empowered and motivated workforce. Ensure that the associate experience across both countries is aligned with our company values and enhances talent retention. Compensation & Benefits: Develop competitive compensation and benefits structures for both India and the Philippines. Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding compensation, labor laws, and taxation. Manage associate recognition programs and ensure alignment with business goals. Performance Management & Learning & Development: Design and implement performance management systems that drive employee performance and accountability. Promote a culture of continuous learning, ensuring employees have access to development opportunities. Work closely with business leaders to identify and address skills gaps within teams. Compliance & Legal: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices in India and the Philippines. Manage HR audits, legal matters, and ensure proper documentation of employee relations activities. Diversity & Inclusion: Champion inclusion and belonging initiatives to build a diverse workforce of the best talent in both India and the Philippines. Promote programs that support equality, respect, and inclusivity in the workplace. Change Management: Lead HR efforts to support organizational change, mergers, and restructures in both regions. Provide guidance on handling associate transitions, retraining, and redeployment during periods of change. Data-Driven HR: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to inform decision-making and drive improvements in the HR function. Regularly report on key HR KPIs and adjust strategies as necessary. ##LI-DNI

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

At least 15 years of experience in HR leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior position managing HR functions across multiple countries. In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices in India and the Philippines. Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, and performance management across both regions. Experience in driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and culturally diverse environment.

 

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across diverse cultures. Strategic thinking with the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term goals. Strong business acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Experience with HR technology and data analytics. Knowledge of change management principles and experience in leading organizational transformation.

 

Other Requirements:

Ability to travel frequently between India and the Philippines. Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Hindi, Tagalog) are an advantage.
