Our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an HR Learning and Development Assistant to join their team. As an HR Learning and Development Assistant, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting the North America Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to connect with people, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** HR Learning and Development Assistant
**Location:** Grand Rapids, MI
**Pay Range:** $31/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Coordinate and perform technical and analytical work involved in implementing training programs for the North America Operations teams in the manufacturing plants.
+ Maintain accurate records of employee training attendance and progress for multiple roles across all 5 North America Plants.
+ Support the design, development, and updating of training materials (e.g., PowerPoints, MBR templates, Flyers).
+ Manage training logistics, including booking spaces, coordinating with trainers, scheduling meetings, and setting up necessary technology/materials.
+ Provide onsite development coaching for hourly and non-exempt employees, depending on the level of experience of the person.
