About the Role

Edge Tutor International is seeking an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in human resources to join our dynamic and rapidly growing organization. As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the HR function, ensuring that our team members are empowered and motivated to excel in their roles. This position will be based in Manila, Philippines.

What you’ll do

● Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

○ Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and selection, to onboarding of new team members.

○ Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, both locally and internationally.

○ Maintain and continuously improve the candidate experience to ensure a positive impression of Edge Tutor International.

● Employee Engagement:

○ Create and implement programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall well-being.

○ Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.

○ Organize team-building activities, training sessions, and events to promote a collaborative and motivated work environment.

● Performance Management:

○ Implement and manage performance appraisal processes to drive employee growth, set clear objectives, and provide feedback.

○ Support managers in addressing performance issues and in developing improvement plans.

○ Work closely with department heads to identify and reward high-performing employees.

● HR Policies and Compliance:

○ Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure legal compliance and consistency across the organization.

○ Stay updated on labor laws and regulations in the Philippines and ensure Edge Tutor's compliance.

○ Handle disciplinary actions and grievance procedures as necessary.

● Training and Development:

○ Identify training and development needs within the organization and design relevant programs to enhance employee skills.

○ Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development among team members.

● HR Analytics and Reporting:

○ Collect, analyze, and report on HR metrics to guide decision-making and improve HR processes.

○ Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on HR data.
