Position Summary:
This role will work in partnership to support our China R&D Center who will have extensive experience in talent management and demonstrate strong learning agility. This role is essential in driving HR strategies that improve interpersonal eefficiencyand support the overall business objectives of the R&D center.
Key Responsibilities:
Build Partnership in a matrix organization.
Develop strong partnerships with business leaders, within and outside China R&D Center.Build and maintain positive relationships across global HR organization, HR platforms and key team membersCoach leaders on complex leadership and people issuesTalent Management:
Lead talent management initiatives including talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and employee development.Working with business/functional leaders to analyze the workforce needs, actively participating in AOP planning process. Implement effective workforce planning strategies to ensure the R&D center is staffed with the right talent to meet current and future needs.Drive initiatives to attract, retain, and develop high-potential employees.Organization development.
Participate in shaping business strategy including building optimal org structure.Initiate and lead complex change initiatives, within and outside own business. Assist China R&D leaders in organization structure change, including but not limited to defining new structure, work on people impact, plan and conduct communication; manage the change process, etc.Drive performance culture
Influence people leaders to embed critical and/or global programs to drive employee engagement and performanceMange PMD process, provide training, guidance to ensure a high quality PMD discussion, feedback across the organization.Promote a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring employees have access to relevant training opportunitiesEmployee Relations:
Lead organizational development initiatives to improve efficiency, team effectiveness, and overall interpersonal health.Strengthen company’s culture and value through all types of program or activities; develop employee communication channel, strengthen employee engagementCompliance and HR Operations:
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.Participate, lead and/or manage HR projects and initiatives on the broader HR team leveraging the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology and tools as appropriate. Examples including temporary hiring processes, onboarding, community outreach, etc.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on talent management and organizational development.Proven experience as an HR business partner supporting R&D or technical functions is highly desirable.Strong learning agility with the ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs and environments.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to implement effective HR strategies and initiatives.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Taking care of ambiguity
