Job details / role purpose

Reporting to the HR Country Lead, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of transactional activities, and serving as the key liaison with local governmental bodies.

This role drives the labor relations strategy, provides expert advisory on local market conditions to regional and functional HR teams, and supports the implementation of business strategy. As an active partner to the local CEO, the HR Manager leads the local HR community, drives employee engagement initiatives, and coordinates HR legal matters and employee relations cases.
 

Key responsibilities/What you do

Business advisory to leaders: Provide strategic HR business advisory to CEO on engagement  with local regulatory and country engagement related topics Provide advisory of local market related expertise and input to  regional country lead  and Functional CoEs  when required. Support the local implementation and delivery of HR programs and services

 

Labor relations: : Coordinate HR Legal matters and employee relation cases, Lead relationships with local governmental parties. Ensures compliance to current employment law issues and group guidelines Senior counterpart for all local specificities and labor law aspects Rewards / compensation: Update comp & ben based on  local legislation Partner with  Regional country lead on all R&P CoE related topics to ensure salary ranges for the function (within one countries) Learning / recruitment and onboarding: Legally required training plan in alignment with global budget and training plan setup if applicable. Employee relations & engagement: Manage employee relations, discipline/grievance cases, Negotiations with on employee discipline, relations and grievance Design/coordinate and implement engagement programs and initiatives (AES), Actively develop new, and build on existing, employee engagement initiatives Drives local cross-functional HR initiatives  Ensure consistent delivery of HR processes and procedures locally  Responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations Proactively resolve HR queries for transactional / admin and payroll related questions Demonstrates employee advocacy and develops a reputation as a neutral and approachable HR professional serving all employees  Ensures adherence  and developments of the local HR policies and procedures in alignment with local regulatory and global guidelines   Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to ensure alignment with business goals and foster a high-performing, collaborative work environment. Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and ensure the team’s continuous professional growth through coaching, training, and development initiatives. Promote a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and engagement by modeling strong leadership behaviors and encouraging open communication. Allocate resources efficiently and ensure optimal team performance while managing workload distribution and project priorities. Foster cross-functional collaboration by acting as a strategic partner and ensuring alignment between HR and other departments to drive organizational success.

 

Key requirements/What you bring

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 10 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within a multinational organization, preerably in the Health field. Strong leadership skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of cultural sensitivity. Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices in Egypt.. Proficiency in HR systems such as SAP Success Factors. Strong critical thinking Skills English speaker, written and verbal
