HR Manager

The HR Manager will support and coordinate all HR functions including organizational development, workforce planning, organizational assessment and diagnosis, development and training, and group facilitation for two manufacturing plants (Norcross/Conyers). 

HR Plant Leadership 

Conduct strategic workforce planning, organizational assessments, and succession planning with the leadership team.  Identify internal and external resources to address gaps in skills and capabilities needed for the effective and efficient operation of the plant.  Ensure compliance for traceability of required training.  Facilitate a variety of developmental and compliance training programs.   Facilitate annual succession planning and people development reviews ensuring progress on employee development plans.   Provide administrative support, including payroll processing, updating HR internal systems, and proper completion of internal/external paperwork.  

People Development/Employee Relations/Compliance – Educating leaders on requirements, company policies, and guidelines.  Foster positive relationships to promote a positive working environment and employee engagement.   

Cultivate a culture based on trust, empowerment, collaboration, and inclusion.  Conduct round tables, and check-ins to keep a pulse on employee relations.  Manage and teach risk mitigation as it relates to employee relations, wage and hour, and worker’s compensation.  Direct and oversee performance management systems and processes (annual reviews, one-on-one coaching, progressive discipline, investigations)  Coach plant leaders through employee relations issues and post-survey management  Ensure compliance with the FLSA, internal reporting, and controls.  Continuously review wage and benefits administration (local surveys, competitive analysis job banding, job progression, wage increase recommendations, pay, and bonus administration) in collaboration with leadership.   Develop, implement, and ensure consistent application of federal, state, local, company business unit, and plant policies and procedures.   Collaborate with the leadership team to oversee communications processes and systems within the plant.  Lead, support, and develop direct/indirect reports.  Ensure company and government reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.  Develop and manage HR and Training budgets.  Conduct annual internal controls audit for HR functions.  Coordinate and Communicate with the HR Director on all business risks associated with workplace and labor management.  Support benefit administration education of benefit offerings to the site (Medical/Wellness/Life-Disability/401K/Pension).   Safety- Support safety and health programs; work in collaboration with the Safety Coordinator. 

Recruiting – Partners with Plant Leadership to present/forecast staffing needs.  Oversees recruiting activities to include vetting candidates, coordinating/participating in site interview processes, and integrating new employees through orientation/onboarding activities.  

Actively partner with the Talent Acquisition team on end-to-end recruiting process from, sourcing, staffing, and selection processes.  Develop and implement plans to support employee engagement, culture, and lean and agile workforce for the plant location; collaborate with business unit leadership to facilitate group-wide goals.
