Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Development Partner EUME, The Manager, Talent Development Partner, based in Milan will serve as the HR business partner supporting all Talent initiatives across the EU Region. As a HR Generalist, this employee will be responsible to keep a “pulse” on our employee population, the culture and dynamics across the region, developing strong talent solutions to support our business.
Support and communicate policies and procedures across the EU Region. Manage risk and ensure legal compliance by keeping current with regional regulatory environments.Collaborate and partner with Payroll and Benefits on all new hire and leaver administration across the EU Region.Support initiatives that help to maintain an open and positive work environment. Encourage and drive consistency in all execution of Talent Policies and Practices across the EU Region.Involved in the implementation, maintaining and evolvement of employee programs, policies and procedures across the EU Region.Proactively address employee relations efforts and conduct balanced investigations across the EU Region.Manage on and off on-boarding process across the region (partner with line managers on processing the information via workday). Evaluate and recommend improvements in the areas of talent development at both the associate and leadership levels to strengthen skillset across teams, primarily Italy and in support across the EU Region.Facilitate talent management processes (year-end, mid-year, goal setting, talent calibrations, comp reviews, etc.) and coach client groups on how to evaluate, motivate and effectively lead talent.Support delivery of talent development initiatives across the region.Full ownership of all Recruitment activities in Italy and across the EU Region as and when necessary.Provide HR support in organizational change initiatives. Responsibility for accuracy of all employee data i.e holiday balances, producing ad hoc reports as required and implementing strategic solutions to produce workable and cost positive outcomes. Be conversant in all administrative tasks associated with starters, leavers and employment changes across the Region and support as necessary.Supporting the Vice President TDP on ad hoc projects as required and ensuring a continuous updating of events and matters arising within Milan Corporate and Italy retail. Ensuring specific actions in response to any events in the first instance have been referenced with The VP TDP and specific guidance sought and actions agreed.To Land this Role:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR - Retail Field Talent/HR experience required. Experience in fashion or hospitality is desirable.Well-rounded in the areas of talent management, recruitment, employee relations, and organizational design.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externally (encompasses verbal, written, listening).Commercial judgment, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to make timely decisionsMust be flexible and can adapt easily to changing priorities and multiple tasks.Ability to influence.Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations issues. Ability to manage confidential information.A bachelor's degree or requisite experience.High competency with candidate sourcing tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS and ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology as required.Experienced with Microsoft Office/Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).Proficient in English and Italian, both spoken and written.
