HR Manager - Japan

The Human Resources Leader serves as the business partner to all employees in their assigned region. They manage the day-to-day HR operations and ensure the smooth adoption and implementation of regional and corporate policies locally whilst actively participating in the organizations’ development. They monitor and guarantee the company’s compliance with local employment legislation and take part in regional and global projects throughout the year.
Responsibilities and Activities:
Participate as part of the Aras Japan Leadership team to guide the performance and success of the business Provide a customer-centric point of contact for HR questions and guidance on HR issues Partner with local leaders on workforce planning Partner with local leaders or talent and organization design Maintain local policies and practices to ensure compliance Ensure the correct processing of all HR administrative procedures (New hire, termination, government declaration etc.) Coordinate local recruiting actions (using the global process) Ensure the efficiency of onboarding / offboarding / lifecycle management processes locally. Deliver local employee engagement plans and actions Provide reporting to support the local businesses Manage employee relations (investigations, guidance, coaching etc.) Conduct local training needs analysis and deliver solutions Support local restructuring Take part in regional and global projects Payroll management for JapanWhat You'll Bring:
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Deep knowledge of local employment law and regulations Strong understanding of HR processes: performance management, talent acquisition, compliance, collective bargaining, employee relations, learning & development etc. Excellent written and verbal skills in English and JapaneseSOFTSKILLS
