HR Manager (SBFZ, Zambales)
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Philippine HR functions. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, HR policy development, and compliance with labor laws and regulations in the Philippines. Duties and Responsibilities: + Recruitment and Selection: + Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent + Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions + Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations in the Philippines, including the Data Privacy Act and other relevant legislation + Employee Relations + Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions + Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters + Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement and morale + Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention + Improving relations between staff and supervisors + Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations + HR Policy Development and Compliance + Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations in the Philippines + Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure that HR practices remain compliant + Training and Development + Identify training and development needs within the organization and develop training programs to address those needs + Coordinate training sessions and workshops, both internally and externally, to enhance employee skills and competencies + Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met + Compensation and Benefits + Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, incentives, and employee benefits enrollment + Conduct benchmarking and market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings + Administration of Human Resources Information system (HRIS) + Performance Management + Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans + Provide training and support to managers on conducting performance reviews and addressing performance issues effectively + Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate Qualifications to be successful in the role: + Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Management or any relevant field of study + Minimum of ten years experience in general HR and relevant business work experience preferably with customer service experience + Significant leadership experience + Understanding of software development processes and methodologies + Has sufficient breadth to understand how different business processes interact + Strong, demonstrated proficiency with communication skills, influence, adaptability/flexibility, and building relationships + Experience and working knowledge of Systems Administration and implementation Why Planate?
