ABOUT THE JOB
Evolve the People Services function to ensure a high performing customer centric service to colleagues and employees in the area, whilst providing the effective delivery of the day to day HR operational activity Lead improvement activities across all HR services, refine and redefine processes whilst ensuring an effective and efficient People Services function going forward Play a key role in the development of a new HR systems (= more future oriented; maybe there´s more coming than EC…) Build and maintain a solid foundation of policy and procedures and ensure knowledge sharing in the team You will ensure appropriate manager and employee communications. By providing guidance materials you will ensure consistency of approach and common understandingGive transactional advice to destination teams Ensure accurate payroll delivery and benefit programs Lead the team in establishing best practices, standardisation and effective process governance (including data integrity, maintaining and cleansing files). You will be looking for and establishing digital HR solutions supporting TUI MM strategic Digital Transformation initiatives Be an expert in employment law, tax and/or payroll queries You will lead the team, acting as an escalation point for complex issues while providing support, guidance, and development for team members, including talent management and succession planning, to ensure high performance, engagement, and a strong talent pipeline for the wider HR team
ABOUT YOU
Min. three years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist Experience in travel/tourism/maritime business advantageous Experience in managing high volume of employees (2000+) in a fast-paced environment Experienced in using HR Systems(e.g.SuccessFactors,SAP,Paycor,HRIS/Payroll or similar systems) preferred Has an excellent knowledge of US employment law, tax and other labor requirements Knowledge of Canadian employment laws and other requirements would be beneficial A strong people manager who can develop their team, drive engagement and professional development Able to travel occasionally Be fluent in verbal and written English. Any additional languages advantageous
