In our Dublin site, our team focuses on delivering high-quality specialised products, for the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sector for global leading brands.
This role will lead the site HR function in the provision of professional guidance, support and input to site management in matters relating to; recruitment and selection, implementation and adherence to policies/procedures; employment legislation; overseeing employee relations and performance management, training and development and organisational design.
The role is based at our new premises in Horizon Business Park, Swords.
Reporting to site GM with dotted line to Regional HR Manager Ireland
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Selection
Responsibility for the recruitment and selection of employees to find the right candidates in the most cost-effective way including.
Training
Coaching managers and facilitating the identification of training needs, using group resources and designing bespoke programmes, arranging and delivering induction training and maintaining our Investors in People accreditation and overseeing the in-house apprenticeship programmes.
Employee Relations
Responsibility for the provision of advice on employment legislation and industrial relations. Providing expert HR advice, guidance and support to line managers on ER issues ranging from, disciplinaries, sickness absence and capability, performance management, managing attendance, grievances and advising on application of policy and fair procedures and manage case work appropriately. Ensuring that ER advice provided is in-line with Company values, policies and procedures, HR best practice plus prevailing legislation in order to minimise the risk to the Company.
Engaging with unions and coordinating meetings to promote a positive working relationship
Performance Management
Providing managers with advice on managing performance. Administer the PM process ensuring plan is on track and objectives are set and support calibration activities. Administer any incremental changes in line with planned training as per site agreements and participate in the annual salary review process
Administration
Provide an effective HR administration service ensuring that data/information is created, handled, stored, recorded, processed and retrieved in a professional, confidential, accurate and timely manner, in accordance with data protection with ongoing maintenance of HR systems. Gather, collate, analyse and present information to a variety of target audiences e.g. HR KPI\u2019s, presenting KPI\u2019s and preparing written reports or visual presentations and advising on relevant actions and improvement initiatives

Lead and support Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
SKILLS, BEHAVIOUS & EXPERIENCE
* Demonstrate our values of loyalty, integrity, safety and respect
* Minimum up to 3 years\u2019 experience within the HR function with cipd qualification desirable
* Good verbal and written presentation/communication skills
* Knowledge of current employment law.
* IT Literate in use of Microsoft Office Packages
* Exposure to a unionised environment is desirable
* Demonstrable good communication and interpersonal skills and evidence of good working relationships internally and possess professional aplomb when representing the company in front of auditors or visitors
* Demonstrable evidence of information handling ability and problem solving skills
* Ability to organize and plan
