HR Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Manager
Position Description:

The HR M&A and Outsourcing Manager supports global strategic growth initiatives and contributes to the continuous development, improvement, and sharing of HR best practices. Looking for someone with extensive experience contributing to end-to-end HR activities related to M&A and Outsourcing engagements, where they will act as a trusted advisor to our HR Business Partners. To be successful in this role previous M&A experience would be amazing along with a very high attention to detail.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

•Act as an HR expert in M&A and outsourcing and coach HR colleagues and other leaders by sharing knowledge and tools.
•Participate in and/or manage various steps of projects including performing due diligence, reviewing contracts, and planning integration activities.
•In outsourcing projects, contribute to client proposals highlighting CGI’s unique people-centric approach, and ensure compliance of HR commitments with CGI’s global frameworks.
•Partner with HR teams and with other global functions to pro-actively identify HR risks and define mitigation solutions.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
•Consulting mindset and experience in advisory role to senior leadership teams.
•Ability to conduct detailed analysis of complex subjects and to summarize key findings and recommendations at a strategic level for executive attention.
•Agile learner with curiosity to explore new topics and continuously expand knowledge within the human resources domain and in other domains including finance and law.
•Capable of producing quality work within short timeframes.
•Project management and change management fundamentals.
•Develop strategies to successfully merge cultures, teams, and processes into a single, unified organization through best practices that cover every aspect of the integration life cycle.
•Encourage continuous evolution and global adoption of CGI’s HR integration best practices by sharing knowledge and tools with CGI’s global HR M&A and Outsourcing community of interest.
•Lead improvement initiatives part of the COE’s strategic roadmap.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or other related field.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. More than 1 language is an asset, especially French.
•At least 7 years of experience in human resources or combined with other relevant experience.
•Varied HR knowledge including experience in compensation and labor relations in various countries.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
