In this role you will be part of an international and agile HR team. The exciting part of this role is that you are end-to- end responsible for the operational and service-oriented HR tasks, centered on excellent employee support. You will support a varied group of employees on operational, regional and group level. The HR team reports and is close to the Chief People and Legal Officer. We work together in close collaboration and alignment with our colleagues in our head quarter and regional head quarter in Rotterdam. A great position for anyone who wants to accelerate their full scope development in HR. Our HR Officer focusses on making processes seamless and ensuring a positive employee experience. We are looking for someone who can strengthen and support the HR department through providing accurate, efficient and effective support for all HR processes and services we run from the head office in Rotterdam. As our HR Support Officer you will coordinate the activities required to meet our quality standards and focus on continuous improvement whilst contributing to the People Agenda and demonstrating Refresco’s values and behaviors. 

 

Within Refresco no day is the same and the same goes for your responsibilities. You will get a broad range of work and this may change while you onboard on your journey with us. We do not expect you to be an expert in every area! You will be requested to provide support in a proactive manner and act upon these. We expect you to act and operate in a highly entrepreneurial way and to establish a strong internal network. 

  

The position

Manage and coordinate all end-to-end HR processes and administration tasks within the HR department, from hire-to-retire; Proactively support line managers and employees with first line support advice on general HR topics and addressing employee inquiries and requests (onboarding, leave, payroll issues); Keep our employee resources in top shape - think HR handbook, HRIS, org charts, and the intranet - and find ways to make them even better; Support recurring projects such as the Performance Cycle, the annual Compensation Review, Great Place to Work and other initiatives that may be determined a requirement as part of the HR agenda; Support (and pro-actively initiate ideas on) projects related to the role and help drive continuous improvement for the HR department; Maintain and utilize the HR database & system through timely and accurate input, producing reports to assist with the provision of information & KPI reporting; Collaborating with our external payroll provider, you will oversee the operational execution of payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation. 

 

About you 

We’re looking for an organized and proactive HR Officer with the following qualifications and attributes;You have a Bachelor or Master degree in HR; You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an international business environment and you have a good feeling of good customer service; Skilled with PowerPoint & Excel; Experience with SuccessFactors is a nice to have; Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written; Well-structured systematic approach to your work; You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, and strong at maintaining relationships; And you are fun to work with!
