Job Summary
This role is responsible for supporting HR-related inquiries. The role contributes to training, supports recruitment, and manages employee onboarding while assisting in strategic workforce planning. The role provides operational and administrative assistance in HR policy and procedure development and maintains metrics reporting using HRIS tools.

Responsibilities

Provides customer support to employees and managers for HR cases; escalates, as necessary.Develops program delivery and presentation materials to support program delivery and implementation.Creates employee data to provide research for human resources programs and reports findings to support HR program development and delivery.Develop a broad understanding of human resources programs and a working knowledge of the business.Supports the training of business unit management on policy and procedures, employee discipline, retention, health and safety and other issues.Coordinates employee onboarding/orientation program and participates in strategic workforce planning initiatives.Gathers statistics and reports on employee performance and engagement issues using human resource information system programs like HRIS.Provides operational and administrative support in the development and implementation of new human resources policies, practices, and procedures to meet the evolving needs of the organization.Compiles employee data and job applicant activity to build out and maintain metrics reporting, as needed.

Experience Recommended

Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in HR functional area, HR generalist, HR consulting, employee relations, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.

Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/ Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHPR)Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
