HR Operations Analyst II - Immigration and Sponsorship

Description Summary: The HR Operations Analyst II manages multiple projects, typically of short duration. They identify opportunities and ensure successful Risk/ Audit/ Vendor/ Partner outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Manages the entirety of the immigration and sponsorship program.
+ Assists international workforce, affected managers, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition Consultants with all immigration and sponsorship related inquires.
+ Acts as a liaison for internal and external counsel pertaining to immigration and sponsorship.
+ Consults and provides recommendations for all immigration cases.
+ Recommends and participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals in relation to immigration and sponsorship.
+ Responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations related to visas and immigration provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services as well as the Department of Labor.
+ Guides colleagues and managers through PERM recruitment and reviews the resumes of all applicants who apply for a position as a result of the DOL’s regulated recruitment campaign.
+ Maintains Public Inspection Files and PERM Audit files to remain in compliance with the DOL and USCIS.
+ Evaluates and submits eligible colleagues into the H1B Cap Lottery.
+ Completes and reviews training plans for our colleagues on STEM OPT.
+ Drafts all employment letters for green card and visa processing purposes.
+ Reviews suggestions, implements changes, offers support for improvements, and breaks down roadblocks.
+ Regularly networks with segments executives, senior leaders, and external legal counsel.
+ Independently determines method for completion of new projects with guidance on overall project objectives; acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
+ Develops staff for current and long-term department needs and opportunities.
+ Liaison with Risk, responsibility for coordinating risk testing, UDT documentation, creating procedures and process maps.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 2+ years related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Applies advanced knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of tasks and project.
