Overview:
We are expanding our newly established HR Operations team in the Manila office and are seeking an HR Coordinator to support our employee population in the Americas (US and Canada). In this role, you will develop broad HR expertise across various disciplines. This position is ideal for a motivated junior HR professional looking to advance their HR career.
Responsibilities:
Employee onboarding and offboarding administration, by coordinating with appropriate teams, Managers, and other HR members to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes. This may also include HRIS data updates such as Workday and ServiceNow.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, communicating HR policies and procedures.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with other teams like Finance, Corporate Services, and IT to foster positive and respectful working relationships.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to meet the needs of a growing organization.
Prepare employment verification letters (VOE).
Manage and maintained the global distribution list (DL), ensuring accurate and timely communication across teams and regions.
Own and coordinate the global HR calendar, scheduling and facilitating regular meetings across different time zones.
Administer and update the global holiday schedule, ensuring compliance with regional and local holidays.
Develop and maintained SharePoint (SP) pages for global HR communications and resources, improving accessibility and information sharing for employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree graduate in Psychology, Human Resources, or any Business-related discipline.
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a fast-growing and evolving company.
Highly organized and ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
Detail oriented with ability to juggle multiple priorities.
An interest and understanding of employment law and willingness to continually expand and develop knowledge and skillset.
Demonstrate good judgement, act with integrity, credibility, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills and able to build relationships across all levels of the business in a global operating environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using Workday would be beneficial.
Perform other HR related duties and responsibilities to be assigned from time to time.
This role will be assigned on non-traditional shift or mid/night shift schedule and hybrid work setting.
