As a HR Operations Lead, your impact on trivago’s business will be significant as you streamline HR processes, helping our team grow and succeed. How you’ll make an impact: Orchestrate and continuously improve HR admin and payroll processes to ensure efficiency Establish personal and team OKRs and drive progress towards these goals Allocate tasks and responsibilities within the team to ensure optimal workload distribution and productivity Lead the onboarding and ongoing development of team members to foster a winning team Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, feedback sessions, and performance reviews to ensure continuous development and alignment of team Oversee and sign off on payroll-related audit controls to ensure accuracy and compliance Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Workday developers, other internal stakeholders, and our external payroll provider to achieve seamless HR operations What you'll need to thrive: Experience as a team lead in HR Administration and/or payroll preparation Solid understanding of labor law, particularly in Germany Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, our company language Demonstrated growth mindset with a great sense of ownership and accountability High degree of service orientation with a proactive problem-solving attitude Proficiency in HCM tools, preferably Workday, and advanced Excel skills Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all HR and payroll processes Stand out with: Experience with tool implementations and project management skills
