HR Operations Onboarding Intern

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time intern for the Human Resource Talent Acquisition Operations Team. In this role, the intern will work alongside a team of preboarding coordinators and contribute to Atlantic’s mission of delivering excellent healthcare services to our communities. The intern’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
+ Coordinate background checks, license & certification verifications, and issue final clearance for assigned functional areas and locations
+ Track and ensure proper medical clearance of new hires
+ Answer phones and questions around access to new hire portal and document upload
+ Coordinate and ensure I-9 Immigration compliance for all new hires
+ Ensure a great experience for internal transfers and completion of their onboarding process into the new role
+ Partner with and manage alerts and communications on every new hire with ISS, EPIC, Nursing Ed, Recruiting, Talent Management and Security
+ Ensuring that all activities conform to local, federal, industry and company standards
+ Identifying and resolving any problems in the production process
+ Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private college/university
+ Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2025 - August 2025
+ Be in good academic standing
+ Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
+ US Citizen or permanent resident
+ Ideally pursing a degree within Human Resource, or a similarly related field
+ Coursework and/or experience with data collection and entry
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
+ Must have strong communication skills
